Our buck hunts run from the beginning of August through February. This is a guaranteed hunt. We will do whatever we can to ensure you get your deer or elk. Doe hunts are available year-round.
Our hunting preserve is heavily wooded. You may hunt from one of our existing stands, your own climbing stand, or from the ground. You can see what our preserve looks like by checking out the pictures of past hunts below, or our ranch photos. You can see an aerial photo here: ranch map.
You may hunt with a gun, bow, handgun, cross bow, black powder gun, knife, spear...
Hunting parties may consist of a single or multiple hunters. There is no limit on the number of deer hunted. There are no clothing requirements (i.e. percentage of blaze orange covering) unless hunting in a group. Your hunt is not guided unless you want it to be. You and your chosen animal(s) are the only ones in the preserve during your hunt.
We prefer that all elk & red stag hunts take place in September & October whenever possible. Their antlers are in the best shape at that time, and we can't guarantee they won't be damaged after that. Elk & stag hunts are certainly available, however, the entire season (August through February).
A 10% deposit is required. It is non-refundable, but you may transfer your deposit to another season or another hunter. The balance is due upon completion of the hunt. Confirmation of your hunt will be sent on receipt of your deposit. There is a 6% tax and testing fee that must be added to the price of your hunt. We accept money order, cash, or cashier’s check. No extra license must be purchased. Full payment is required for a wounded animal; we will make every effort to harvest the animal.
We offer a $100 bounty on coyotes!
After you get your deer or elk, we will carry it out of the hunting area, field dress it, skin it and quarter the meat for you. We have a taxidermist and meat processor on hand if you would like to take advantage of their services for an additional fee. Click here for meat processor & taxidermist info. If you don’t want the meat or can’t take it with you, we have many willing takers, so the meat will not go to waste. We have a walk-in cooler to store your meat while you are here.
